The future of government just got smarter. Abu Dhabi unveiled the world’s first AI public servant, TAMM AutoGov, during the GITEX Global 2025 event, marking a historic step toward becoming the world’s first fully AI-native government. The new AutoGov system introduces proactive digital governance. It can renew your licence, pay your bills, make healthcare appointments and even talk to you via hologram! Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement (DGE), described the innovation as “truly transformative,” adding, “The government is no longer reactive. It’s a partner that is intelligent, human-centred, and present at the moments that matter most.” The enhanced TAMM platform now integrates over 1,100 public and private services and features cutting-edge tools such as AI Vision, Smart Guide, and TAMM Hologram, which allow citizens and residents to connect with live government agents through 3D holographic pods. Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director-General of TAMM, said the new features redefine government-citizen interaction. “We’re moving away from one-off transactions to intelligent journeys that adapt to each person’s needs,” he said. “This is the true promise of an AI public servant — to give people back time and peace of mind.” The update also introduces TAMM by You, a participatory feature allowing residents to propose and vote on new government services, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s “Year of Community” initiative.
