The court ordered a woman to return Dh125,000 to a man after selling a car without informing the buyer that she had repainted and modified the vehicle. The man sued the woman, asking her to return the amount he had paid for the car. The man said in his lawsuit that he had bought the vehicle from the woman and registered it in his name. The man later discovered that the vehicle had been modified and repainted. The man returned the vehicle to the defendant, who initially agreed to return the purchase price, insurance, and registration fees. However, she did not fulfill the agreement even after the man asked her multiple times. The woman's refusal prompted the man to take the case to court. After hearing from all parties, the Al Ain Court of First Instance ordered the defendant to restore all car sale proceeds and registration fees to the plaintiff. The woman appealed the ruling but was dismissed because she filed the appeals case after the expiration of the legally specified deadline. The woman was also told to pay for the man's legal expenses.
