Abu Dhabi: Woman sues company for Dh22,000 over travel promo
A woman in Abu Dhabi has sued a company for Dh22,000 over what she said were travel and tourism promos that she paid for but never received. The woman said that she signed up for the company’s promotion programme for travel and entertainment offers and other services that she claimed were not delivered. She demanded that the company pay her a legal interest of 12 percent or Dh5,000 and also pay for her legal expenses. The Abu Dhabi Court of First Instance dismissed her lawsuit, saying that she did not provide sufficient evidence that she requested for the services or that the company refused to provide her with the services.
