A new interactive entertainment experience that fuses gaming and fitness is set to launch this September! Activate, known as the world's first active gaming experience, is a gaming facility that features nine high-tech rooms designed to deliver an adrenaline-pumping experience for players. Each room accommodates groups of two to five players and challenges physical and mental skills with over 50 games. It includes the TikTok viral Mega Grid, featuring more than 500 multi-activated colored lights and other interactive games combining digital and physical activities, such as Hoops, Strike, Portals, Press, Hide, and Control. This facility is suitable for anyone aged six and up and has up to 10 levels ranging from easy to extreme. Players can team up in cooperative mode or compete against each other in competitive mode. As they progress, players can see their rankings on the scoreboard. Each Activate location features identical game rooms, allowing players worldwide to compete and connect. This new entertainment facility is set to open on September 18 at City Centre Mirdif in Dubai. Tickets are priced at Dh95 per person for a 60-minute session. Operating hours will be from 10am to 10pm on weekdays, and from 10am to midnight on weekends. Founded in Winnipeg, Activate now has over 30 locations across Canada and the US.
