Filipina actress Lovi Poe is expecting her first child with husband, British film producer Monty Blencowe, two years after the couple tied the knot. The actress revealed the news on Monday (September 1) through a maternity photoshoot for a local clothing brand, posing in a two-piece undergarment that showcased her baby bump. The brand’s caption read: “This is what it means to truly Love Your Body—inside and out.” Poe’s announcement sparked a wave of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities. Hayden Kho, Max Collins, Yam Concepcion, Rabiya Mateo, Megan Young, Benjamin Alves, Rodjun Cruz, Sunshine Cruz, Samantha Bernardo, Kiray Celis, Jessy Mendiola, and Donnalyn Bartolome were among the first to extend their warm wishes. Janine Gutierrez, Zeinab Harake, Kate Valdez, Ivana Alawi, Kris Bernal, Carla Abellana, Solenn Heussaff, Kylie Verzosa, and Chie Filomeno also sent their congratulations. Poe and Blencowe wed in August 2023 in Berkshire, England, after two years of engagement. They had announced their engagement publicly just weeks before their wedding. In an earlier interview with Inquirer in May 2024, Poe admitted she might bring her perfectionist tendencies into motherhood. “I’m such a perfectionist when it comes to the characters I play, what more in real life?
