A total of 5,000 new jobs will be opened in the private sector by 2027, thanks to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Nafis programme. The agreement will open skilled jobs for Emirati nationals in the private sector in ADNOC’s manufacturing, machine learning and nanotech sectors. ADNOC made the announcement at the Make it in the Emirates Forum in Abu Dhabi on Thursday (June 1) and comes after its agreement with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council. “Nurturing and empowering talent is a top priority for ADNOC and we are very pleased to once again partner with Nafis to create an additional 5,000 skilled jobs for UAE nationals,” said Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC. Under the Nafis Apprentice Programme, ADNOC will also provide 1,000 Emirati graduates training in the private companies under its supply chain. ICA/Expat Media
