An African man will be deported from Dubai after he assaulted two police officers. The Dubai Criminal Court sentenced the man to a three-month jail term followed by deportation. According to records, the African man had overstayed his visit visa in Dubai and was unemployed in the emirate. His case was uncovered after a police check when two officers asked him for his identification documents. Unable to produce any document, he pushed and kicked the police officers and tried to run away. He was eventually arrested after he stumbled and fell down. He was charged with resisting arrest and assault and found guilty in court. ICA/Expat Media
