An African man died after he was hit by a vehicle in Sharjah on Saturday (May 18), according to Sharjah Police. The incident happened at around 1pm in Sharjah’s Industrial Area 4. According to police, the African was trying to cross the road in an undesignated area when he was hit by a vehicle. Police said the victim died on the spot, while the Asian driver sustained injuries and was sent to the hospital for treatment. He is expected to undergo police questioning.ICA/Expat Media
