Agemono Express, the popular UAE-based Filipino-Japanese restaurant chain, has opened a new branch in Sharjah as part of its growing expansion across the emirates. The new outlet, which officially opened on Friday (August 22), is located opposite St. Michael’s Catholic Church, offering residents and visitors a new dining spot for Asian comfort food. As part of the grand opening celebration, diners can enjoy a 20 percent discount on their total bill until August 29. The branch will operate from Tuesday to Sunday, between 11am and 9pm, and will remain closed every Monday. Since its founding in 2005, Agemono Express has built a reputation for bringing together beloved Asian flavors, blending Filipino favorites with Japanese classics. “Our goal is to bring the best of Asian food under one roof — not just to satisfy cravings, but to celebrate culinary culture,” said owner Roberto Capulong, who has grown the restaurant from humble beginnings. Capulong’s inspiring story — from waiting tables to becoming a successful restaurateur — has also made him a role model among Filipino entrepreneurs in the UAE.
