 The Ajman government has banned petroleum transport vehicles from parking in non-designated areas, warning violators of heavy penalties. According to the resolution, the Higher Energy Committee in Ajman will monitor compliance and impose fines through judicial enforcement officers. • First offence: Dh5,000 fine • Second offence: Dh10,000 fine • Third offence: up to Dh20,000 fine, plus possible impoundment and public auction of vehicle Authorities may also suspend or revoke petroleum product trading permits of licensed facilities that repeatedly fail to comply. Immediate removal of violations will be enforced in densely populated areas or where public safety is at risk, with costs charged to the violator. The ruling will take effect 30 days after issuance.
