DUBAI – A charity campaign in Ajman has helped 400 families in need receive vouchers worth a total of Dh684,000 this week.
According to Beit Al Khair Society, the volume of food vouchers was made possible through an increased number of donations this year.
The charity said that its campaign will continue throughout Ramadan.
“This increase (in food voucher donations) reflects the hard work being done to reflect the value of giving and the efforts to meet the families’ needs through providing them with the essentials to live a decent life and also to encourage humanitarian work and social solidarity,” said Amira Shaker, director of Beit Al Khair Society, Ajman branch.
