Authorities in Ajman have imposed a ban on the use of all e-scooters on public roads and streets, just days after prohibiting bicycles from the same areas. The announcement by Ajman Police is part of a wider campaign to enhance road safety and reduce traffic accidents caused by unsafe use of two-wheel devices. Officials explained that both bicycles and scooters may only be used in designated areas, warning that violators will face fines and penalties. The move comes as Ajman Police intensify safety efforts ahead of the new academic year. Authorities said the restrictions are aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow around schools and creating a safe environment for students from the first day of classes.
