Ajman Police officers have arrested a man who stabbed a woman to death and set a shop on fire. According to police, the suspect also stabbed three other people. Police said all the victims, including the woman, are Asians. Lieutenant-Colonel Saeed Ali Al Madhani, Deputy Director of the Operations Department at Ajman Police, said the incident happened in Ajman’s industrial area on Monday (May 6). Police released footage of firefighters working to put out the blaze, which has spread in the commercial building. Investigation revealed that the suspect used a sharp object to attack the woman and three other workers at a shop before setting it on fire. The woman died from stab wounds, while the three Asians were seriously wounded in the attack and transferred to a hospital. Investigators said the suspect had an illicit affair with the victim, who confessed to his crimes during interrogation.
