A 7-year-old Asian boy who was found wandering alone on a public road in the Al Manama area of Ajman has been safely reunited with his family, thanks to the swift response of Ajman Police. Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rashid Al Matroushi, Head of Al Manama Comprehensive Police Station, said that a concerned Gulf citizen brought the lost boy to the station after spotting him walking aimlessly and appearing distressed. "The child was frightened and unable to communicate his parents' whereabouts. Our first priority was to ensure his safety and well-being," Al Matroushi said. Officers immediately provided the boy with food and comfort while initiating efforts to locate his family. Despite not receiving any missing child report, police launched an urgent investigation to trace the boy’s guardians. By coordinating with nearby communities and using available resources, authorities were able to track down the child's parents within an hour. The police praised the Gulf citizen who found the child for his responsible actions. "It is the civic duty of every resident to report such cases immediately to prevent harm," Al Matroushi stated. Officials also took the opportunity to remind parents to remain vigilant about their children's whereabouts. "We urge families to never leave young children unattended and to secure their homes properly. An unlocked door or momentary distraction can lead to dangerous situations," he added.
