The Ajman Triathlon will kick off on Sunday (October 15) at the Al Zorah Natural Reserve in the Ajman Beach Corniche, according to the Ajman Department of Tourism Development. The Ajman Triathlon offers participants a unique opportunity to swim in the tranquil waters of Al Zorah Natural Reserve, followed by a bicycle ride on traffic-free roads and a thrilling run along the designated track with stunning views of the Al Zorah Natural Reserve. With its flat and smooth course, the event is accessible to beginners and seasoned athletes, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a triathlon challenge. The race distances include Olympic, Sprint, Super Sprint, and Junior Super Sprint, catering to individuals of all ages and abilities. Teams of two or three athletes are also encouraged to participate in the mixed relay category. The Olympic category includes a 1.5km swim, 40km bicycle ride, and 10km run, with age categories spanning from 13 to 99. Alternatively, the Sprint, Super Sprint, and Junior Super Sprint categories provide diverse options, accommodating ages 5 to 99. “This event exemplifies our commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and showcasing the natural beauty of Ajman.
