A glowing garden of 1,500 illuminated flowers is drawing crowds to Al Sarouj Park as the Al Ain Flower Festival 2026 transforms the city into a vibrant night-time attraction. Running until February 13, the festival is hosted by Al Ain Municipality and combines art, sustainability and family-friendly entertainment in one colourful destination. The main attraction is a breathtaking installation of solar-powered flowers that light up after sunset, creating one of the most Instagrammable spots in the emirate. The illuminated blooms spell out “Al Ain Ghir,” which means “Al Ain is different,” a slogan that reflects the city’s distinct identity and growing reputation as an eco-friendly destination. From above, the glowing message becomes even more striking, especially when viewed near the spiral tower, where visitors can enjoy a sweeping perspective of the garden. Khalifa Saeed Al Saadi, Head of Communications at Al Ain Municipality, said the illuminated garden offers a fresh experience for residents and tourists. He highlighted that the flowers are powered by solar energy, aligning with the municipality’s sustainability standards and reinforcing Al Ain’s commitment to environmentally responsible initiatives. Beyond the illuminated display, visitors can enjoy interactive attractions and artistic installations that blend nature with creativity. Giant glowing flowers add dramatic visual appeal, making evening strolls through the park both relaxing and visually stunning. Families can explore the landscaped surroundings while children enjoy the lively atmosphere.
