Al Ain food poisoning: 30 students discharged from hospital

  DUBAI - Thirty students who suffered from food poisoning in Al Ain have been discharged from hospital. They have all fully recovered following treatment, according to the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi. The students, who came from two different public schools, fell ill after eating lunch at their school canteen on Thursday. Two students remained in the hospital on Friday but have been discharged after their condition improved. “The statistics of the Medical Operations Command Centre recorded that the food poisoning cases ranged from mild to moderate, all of which received the necessary medical care and have left the hospitals,” the department of health said. The Ministry of Education has suspended the canteen food supplier of the schools pending an investigation into the cases of food poisoning.
