Al Ibrahimi Restaurant gets closed by Abu Dhabi food authority
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) issued a decision of shutting down a restaurant for violating food safety requirements in Abu Dhabi. Al Ibrahimi Restaurant on Sheikh Zayed II Street (Electra) in Abu Dhabi was found to have repeatedly failed to meet the health and food safety standards. The restaurant was already fined twice with a warning of administrative closure for the rotten and nasty smelling frozen foods, low cleanliness levels of food preparation, and presence of insects in the kitchen and reservation areas. The administrative closure order will remain in effect until the restaurant complies with the ADAFSA standards. ADAFSA pointed out that all establishments of different kinds and food products will be inspected by the authority inspectors and will be under observation for any food safety abuses that would warrant fines and closure. The public is encouraged to report any food violations in the emirate to the Abu Dhabi Government toll-free number 800555.
