1. Register your interest Email the Client Relations Centre (CRC@expocitydubai.ae) or visit the Women’s Pavilion in the Sustainability District at ECD. 2. Submit your application Download the Freelancer Permit Application Form from the ECD website. 3. Complete the form and submit it with the required documents Pay the fees, including a non-refundable Dh500 application fee. 4. Review and approval ECDA reviews your application and may request additional documents, like a detailed work portfolio. Once approved, you will receive the freelancer permit, Emirates ID and an invoice for payment of the company card (optional) and UAE residence visa. 5. Receive your permit The process takes three working days (or up to five if a residence visa is required).
