Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum kicks off in Abu Dhabi
The Atlantic Council's seventh annual Global Energy Forum started today in Abu Dhabi as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW). The world's most influential energy leaders attended to set the global energy agenda for the year ahead and drive the global energy transition. This year's conference is significant since vital climate and energy strategy concerns are taking center stage in the run-up to the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP28). The 2023 forum will address the difficulty of balancing energy security concerns and decarbonization activities. The forum is convened in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Mubadala Investment Company, TAQA, and Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC), with CNBC as an international media partner.
