According to Abu Dhabi Police, the illegal transportation of people in private vehicles is a non-civilized behavior with negative social, economic, and security impacts. According to the authorities, some drivers who use their personal vehicles as taxis do not possess UAE-issued licenses and may even be residing in the country illegally.
