Global Village has clarified that there will be no restrictions on bachelors and other guests coming to the popular entertainment destination to celebrate New Year’s Eve. This came after Global Village announced that Saturday (December 31) “will be exclusively reserved for ladies and families”. Responding to a netizen's question on “restrictions for bachelors on New Year’s Eve”, Global Village on its Facebook page allayed fears, saying, “We are looking forward to welcoming all our guests on New Year’s Eve.” Global Village has prepared the “ultimate New Year’s Eve celebrations” with seven fireworks displays beginning at 8pm to mark New Year in parts of the world. Fireworks will set off for China and parts of Asia at 8pm, moving through Thailand at 9pm, Bangladesh at 10pm, India at 10:30pm, Pakistan at 11pm, then UAE at midnight and Turkey at 1am. Each stroke of midnight will be celebrated with its own dedicated countdown and a breathtaking firework display that's signature to Global Village. But that's not all! For those seeking more than seven countdowns, Global Village offers an exploration of over 90 diverse cultures, an expansive array of over 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 dining options, performances from more than 40 countries, and over 195 rides, games, and attractions. Gates open at 4am and the park will remain open until 2am on January 1. ICA/Expat Media
