Bangladeshi expat in Abu Dhabi wins Dh50,000 from scratch card A Bangladeshi expat in Abu Dhabi has won Dh50,000 after buying a Dh50 scratch card from Dream Island at the Abu Dhabi Airport. Didarul Alam, a 23-year old engineer from Bangladesh, bought his Lucky 7 scratch card on Monday  (April 10). He received his prize at an awarding ceremony in Dream Island's newest branch on Electra Street on Tuesday (April 11). Alam has been regularly buying Dream Island scratch cards in the last seven months. On Monday, two of the tickets he bought turned out to be carrying the Dh50,000 prize. “Eid will be very good because I won this prize,” Alam said after receiving his prize. He wants to use a part of his prize money to go on a vacation. He will also invest it in business. Since the beginning of the year, Dream Island, the UAE’s first scratch card store, has given away cash prizes ranging from Dh10,000 to Dh20,000 to lucky scratch card winners.
