Homegrown specialty restaurant Baofriend has opened in Global Village, dishing out its unique cuisine at the popular entertainment and leisure destination. Baofriend’s outlet is located in the Road of Asia area of Global Village, which is open daily from 4pm to midnight until April 28, 2024. “You cannot think of Dubai and the UAE, and the massive number of cultures being represented without thinking of Global Village. The renowned destination is a testament to cultural unity that is manifested in its showcase of uniqueness and, importantly, tastes,” Dr. Ali Al Ibrahim and Junah Balungcas, the dynamic duo behind Baofriend, said in a statement. “Our first-ever participation at Global Village makes us very excited not just to mingle with people of different cultures, but also to have them sample our unique culinary offerings that are sure to capture their imagination and taste buds,” they added. From its humble beginnings at its very first branch in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Baofriend has expanded in various pop-up locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
