Visitors to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi will have to undergo a new pre-registration process ahead of their visit. This came as the Middle East’s first hand-carved stone temple saw a heavy footfall of visitors due to the Eid Al Fitr holidays. According to a temple spokesperson, the new booking process aims to ensure a more organised and enjoyable experience for visitors. Visitors must register via mandir.ae/book-visit and select their preferred date and time of visit. The temple is open from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 9am to 8pm. It is closed on Mondays.
