Barsha woman sues Egypt man over sex comment

  DUBAI – A Canadian woman has sued a 30-year-old Egyptian man who allegedly molested her and told her she “needed two men to please her in bed”. According to police records, the woman was in the elevator in the building where she lives in Al Barsha when the Egyptian stepped inside. The woman told police that the man started to talk to her before telling her she has a huge figure that required two men to please her. “He seemed drunk and pretended to be sad… he claimed that he needed someone to hug him. When I patted his shoulder, he hugged and molested me. He also told me I had a huge figure and that I needed two men to please me in bed,” she told prosecutors. The police apprehended the man three days after the incident in May, after he was spotted entering the building. During interrogation, the man denied molesting the Canadian and said that she was his friend and that they have conversations on WhatsApp. However, he was not able to give investigators the woman’s contact details and their WhatsApp conversations. Prosecutors accused the Egyptian of molesting the woman and abusing her verbally, charges that he denied when he appeared before the Dubai court on Sunday (August 13). His lawyer also claimed that the woman was drunk during the incident and that she was “incited by one of the building’s managers to lodge this malicious complaint because that manager had a previous dispute with the suspect”. The lawyer added that the woman has waived her complaint and has written a confession that the manager influenced her decision. He asked the court to acquit the Egyptian. The trial continues.
