Big Ticket Abu Dhabi: 2 Indian expats, New Zealander win Dh100,000 each

Two Indian expatriates and a New Zealand national in the UAE have won Dh100,000 each in Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw, organizers revealed on Tuesday (March 14). Big Ticket’s e-draw gives a guaranteed prize of Dh100,000 to three winners each week in the run-up to the monthly grand draw of Dh20 million. A New Zealander in Dubai also won Dh100,000 in the recent e-draw. Bijin Madhusoodanan, an Abu Dhabi resident for the past 12 years, is the first winner of Dh100,000. He bought his ticket at the airport while on vacation. Madhusoodanan said he has been participating in Big Ticket since 2015. He works as a driver at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The second Indian to receive Dh100,000 is Vishal Rarranpal. The Dubai-based IT consultant has been buying Big Ticket tickets for one year. Rarranpal said he wants to use his cash prize to pay off his debt, and share some money with family and friends. New Zealander Rashmi Ahuja was the other weekly winner. Ahuja, who has been living in Dubai in the last 10 years, bought four tickets with the help of her husband and two friends. Ahuja, who works as an immigration advisor in Dubai, plans to share her winnings with her daughter. Upcoming weekly e-draws are scheduled on March 17, March 24 and April 1.
