Big Ticket: Abu Dhabi resident bags 1kg of 24-carat gold after purchasing his first ticket

Since December 1, Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw has been giving participants a chance to walk away with 1KG of 24-carat gold every week. Abiram Murugesan was called on December 9 and was the first lucky individual to take home the gold prize during the first weekly e-draw. A resident of Abu Dhabi, Abiram has been living in the UAE for the past few years and first heard about Big Ticket through social media. Abiram had just purchased his first ticket of the year and, to his surprise, received the winning phone call just days after his purchase. When Big Ticket’s representatives called him, he was overjoyed and shared that he plans to send his prize money to his family to invest in land back home. Customers of Big Ticket who purchase raffle tickets during December are automatically entered into a weekly electronic draw that will see one winner take home the 1 KG of 24-carat gold prize weekly. Anyone who purchases tickets during the promotion dates will also stand a chance to win the Dh35 million grand prize on January 3, 2023, stepping into the new year with millions. Fans of Big Ticket have until December 31 to make their purchases online at www.bigticket.ae or by visiting the in-store counters at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain International Airport.
