Big Ticket: UAE driver takes home Dh35 million

Originally from Bangladesh, 39-year-old Mohammed was driving when Big Ticket hosts Richard and Bouchra tried to reach him by phone during the Series 247 live draw. Although unable to answer their call, the Big Ticket team reached the Al Ain resident and was informed shortly after that he had won Dh35 million, the biggest grand prize winner in Big Ticket history. Mohammed currently works as a pick-up driver for a company in Al Ain and has been buying Big Tickets for the past nine years. His winning ticket was purchased online with 20 friends, who will now split the prize money. The UAE resident, who has been living in the country for the past 12 years, was overjoyed by his win that he could hardly believe it. When asked how he would be spending his cash prize, he said he had yet to consider putting any plans in place as he did not expect to receive tonight's winning call.
