Filipinos in the UAE are set to gain valuable insights and opportunities as the BizNext International Summit takes place on February 15 and 16 at the IFZA Events Center in Dubai Silicon Oasis. The business summit will bring together industry experts, government representatives, and business leaders to discuss economic ties and strategies for sustainable business growth. With a special focus on micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), the event aims to empower Filipino business owners by offering expert insights on market entry, regulatory compliance, brand localization, and strategic consulting. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s growing interest in fostering entrepreneurship within its expat communities, particularly the 700,000-strong Filipino population in the country.

Filipinos in business: Making an impact

BizNext International will feature an impressive lineup of seasoned professionals who will share their expertise on navigating the UAE’s business landscape. The UAE has become a fertile ground for Filipino entrepreneurs, with many turning their business ideas into reality. Filipino-owned businesses span multiple industries, from food and beverage to media production and e-commerce. “Nothing would make us prouder than seeing Filipino entrepreneurs succeed, especially overseas,” said Sam Martin, Managing Director of Reel Dunes Productions, one of the summit’s organizers. “We want to show that Filipinos have what it takes to compete and thrive in the UAE’s dynamic business environment.” The summit will feature workshops on brand localization, government liaison services, and digital transformation strategies, ensuring that participants gain practical knowledge and actionable insights. BizNext International is being held in collaboration with the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, IFZA, and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center–Dubai.
