Boy dies in Damac Hills 2, Dubai Police investigation underway
A three-year-old boy has died in Damac Hills 2 and a Dubai Police investigation is underway to find out the circumstances surrounding the death, according to reports on Sunday (April 23). In an email to residents, property developer Damac confirmed the child’s death and said it was cooperating with authorities in the investigation. Witnesses said the boy was being resuscitated by a resident at a community centre. It was later reported that he died. Damac clarified that the death “did not take place in common area where safety is never compromised.” “It is with deep sorry and a heavy heart that we write to you today to express our condolences over the loss of a young child in our community. The tragic accident has left us all shaken and deeply saddened,” according to Damac. “Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and our hearts go out to the family and their loved ones. No words can express the grief and sorrow that they must be feeling at this time,” it added. Damac Hills 2 is located in Dubailand and is a residential development with apartments, villas and townhouses.
