Expat bride inherits millions after husband’s sudden death one month after their marriage

  RIYADH – A 22-year-old woman has inherited 67 million Saudi riyals after her rich Saudi husband died from a heart attack just one month after their marriage. She also inherited a villa following the death of her husband, a Saudi businessman, who succumbed to a heart attack at the home of his bride, Al Marsad news website reported. The Saudi businessman reportedly married the Arab woman without informing his entire family. Only his brother and a close friend witnessed the formal marriage ceremony. His family initially refused to recognise the marriage, prompting the bride to file a formal case and demand her part of the inheritance. A court in Jeddah ruled in favour of the woman.
