Expat wins luxury car after 15 year attempt

DUBAI – After buying tickets in the last 15 years, a British national finally got lucky with ticket number 1888 at the Dubai Duty Free draw. Singapore-based Mike McKinney, 57, won a Bentley Bentayga V8 (Onyx Black) in Series 1750. McKinney said he chose the ticket ending in 888 as it is considered a lucky combination in Chinese. "This is a surprise in the current situation that I never expected. I'm grateful for this wonderful opportunity," he said. The Singapore resident of 7 years did not say what he plans to do with his new luxury car. ICA/Expat Media
