Filipino dancer and social media star Niana Guerrero has once again caught the attention of K-pop royalty. BTS member J-Hope has followed Guerrero on TikTok, making her the second BTS member to do so, after Jungkook followed her in 2024. Guerrero, who has 44.4 million followers on TikTok, shared a screenshot of J-Hope’s following list on Instagram, with the caption: “That’s crazy.” J-Hope follows only five accounts on TikTok, including BTS’ official page, Jungkook, two luxury brands, and now Guerrero. This unexpected recognition has made Guerrero the “luckiest fan girl,” according to fans on social media. “The luckiest Filipino to be followed by two BTS members! Niana Guerrero, y’all!” one fan wrote on X. Guerrero’s dance covers, including her recent “wall dance trend” video, have garnered millions of views, further cementing her global influence. Guerrero’s rise to social media fame began at age 5 with her “Teach Me How to Dougie” cover, followed by her viral “Despacito” dance at 11. She has since collaborated with international stars like Billie Eilish, Troye Sivan, and Meghan Trainor. CAM/Expat Media
