A bus accident in Khorfakkan left several Indian workers injured, according to Sharjah Police on Monday (December 16). The incident on Sunday (December 15) occurred as the workers were returning from a trip to Sharjah city after 8pm. The bus was reportedly carrying employees of a private company based in Ajman. A representative from Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre said the workers had travelled to Sharjah to visit the company headquarters and do some grocery shopping. They were heading home when the accident occurred. Emergency teams rushed to the scene, transporting the injured to Khorfakkan Hospital for treatment. Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash. ICA/Expat Media
