Car overturns and crashes on Ras Al Khaimah mountain road in Jebel Al Jais, 7 people hurt

  RAS AL KHAIMAH - Seven people were injured after their vehicle crashed and overturned on a mountain road in Ras Al Khaimah's Jebel Al Jais. Those injured in Friday evening's incident were Indian residents, according to Ras Al Khaimah Police. Initial police investigation revealed that the Indian driver lost control of the vehicle as it was cruising down the mountainous road, causing it to veer off the road and overturn before ramming into a concrete barrier. A team from the Civil Defence managed to pull out all the passengers from the mangled vehicle. Police said all the passengers, including the driver, sustained moderate to serious injuries and fractures and were transported to Sqar and Khalifa hospital in Ras Al Khaimah. One of those injured was transported to a hospital in Abu Dhabi.
