Carlos Yulo continued to reap rewards following his Olympic double gold medal victories, with billionaire Chavit Singson and Manny Pacquiao’s mother the latest to reach out to the sports star. Dionisia Pacquiao extended a word of advise to Yulo amid the latter’s much publicized rift with his mother, Angelica. “Mahalin mo ang nanay mo. Huwag ka magtanim, kikim ng samang loob (Love your mother. Don’t harbor any resentment),” Pacquiao said in a video uploaded on Facebook. The mother of Manny Pacquiao has been her son's staunch supporter, and the boxing icon has always credited her for his success. Pacquiao has won 12 major world titles and holds the record for being the only boxer to win oworld titles in eight weight divisions. Boxing historian Bert Sugar ranked Pacquiao as the greatest southpaw fighter of all time. Yulo, on the other hand, has created a record for being the only Filipino to win two gold medals in the Olympics. Former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson has offered a P5-million reward to Yulo and his family. According Singson’s press release, the reward "shall be accepted by the Yulo family and Carlos’ partner as a united front." Yulo is currently dating content creator Chloe San Jose, whom he defended in a video addressed to his mother. He acknowledged that his relationship with San Jose sparked the feud with his mother.
