The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge 2025 is set to return bigger than ever, bringing a weekend of fitness, fun, and incredible prizes to cycling enthusiasts in the UAE. In partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, the event promises an exciting ride through car-free streets, with participants getting the chance to win a Jetour X50, a premium compact SUV that blends bold design, cutting-edge technology, and luxury. The event, scheduled for February 22 and 23, will take place at Expo City Dubai, welcoming cyclists of all abilities. Those who complete the Outride on February 22—choosing between a 35-kilometer route or a 12-kilometer shortcut—will automatically be entered into a grand draw for the Jetour X50, sponsored by Elite Group Holding, Jetour’s exclusive UAE partner. The Outride is designed as a fun, community-driven event where participants, aged 13 and above, can cycle at their own pace in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Music, activations, and a lively crowd will create a festival-like experience for riders and spectators alike. At the finish line, participants can unwind at the Eat Well Live Well Village, featuring food trucks, sponsor activations, competitions, and entertainment. Free food and beverages will be provided by Spinneys and its suppliers, while a VIP Hospitality area will offer an exclusive experience for select attendees. For younger cyclists, the InstaShop Junior Rides will allow children to participate in fun and safe cycling activities, with distances ranging from 900 meters to 9 kilometers, ensuring that even the youngest athletes get to enjoy the sport.

The 92KM main event

On February 23, the focus shifts to the 92-kilometer main race, a competitive event that serves as a qualifier for the 2025 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Australia. Cyclists will battle for a spot in the top 25 percent of their age group, securing their place in the prestigious global competition. Elite riders will also compete for a share of the Dh36,000 prize purse, adding to the high stakes of the event. Additional prizes include a Woom bicycle for juniors, LOOK pedals, Oakley eyewear, exclusive Spinneys Cycle Challenge merchandise, and retail vouchers.
