The 28th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) kicked off last weekend, attracting shoppers to the city's most popular retail destinations. The second week of the Dubai Shopping Festival (22nd - 28th December) will see a mix of unique retail offers, stunning art installations, and spectacular fireworks as the year ends. Unbeatable Offers Over 800 brands and 3500 outlets are participating this year in DSF, meaning many great deals will be offered. Shoppers can take 25 to 75 percent off products from global and local retail favorites until January 29. Visitors will enjoy the return of the much-awaited exclusive 12-Hour Sale at Majid Al Futtaim Malls, which will kick start the DSF Sale Season. This strictly limited-time sale, which takes place on December 26 from 10am to 10pm, gives shoppers a chance to pick up incredible deals of up to 90 percent off on favorite brands at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me'aisem, City Centre Al Shindagha, and My City Centre Al Barsha. Fireworks, Drone Shows, Art Installations, and more In celebration of DSF, the spectacular fireworks by Al Zarooni Group will light up the city throughout the festival at popular venues such as Al Seef, Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR, and Dubai Festival City Mall. There will also be dazzling fireworks at other icons of Dubai, including Dubai Frame, Dubai Creek, and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. For the second week of DSF, visitors can catch the sparkling fireworks displays at Al Seef at 8:30pm every day from December 26 until December 30. Family Festive Entertainment Experience the first traveling water circus in the Middle East. The Fontana Circus runs until December 31 at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall, bringing breathtaking performances, special effects, and thrilling aerial performances to town. Shows are at 6pm on weekdays, and 3pm and 6pm on weekends, with tickets starting at Dh90. Santa's Secret Island at Bluewaters is making the season all the more festive with its enchanting activities, including Santa's Workout Session, Santa's Ice Rink, Santa's Workshop, Santa's Grotto, and more. Entry to all these activities is free, except the Ice Rink, which requires a minimum spend of AED 150. Santa's Secret Island is taking place until December 28, and families can enjoy activities with Santa and his elves from 4 PM to 9 PM daily. Visitors will be transported to the Arctic with the Aurora Light Festive at Ibn Battuta Mall, featuring enchanting projections recreating the stunning Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights, from 2pm to 10pm until January 1. Decorations across five courts, the India Court, Persia Court, Egypt Court, Tunisia Court, and the China Court, make this the spot for Instagram-worthy pictures. Exciting Raffles The Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG) raffle will give 100 shoppers the unmissable opportunity to win 25 kilograms of gold in total. Entering the raffle is easy. Spend over Dh500 on gold jewelry at participating stores and get one entry ticket. Spend over Dh500 on diamond and pearl jewelry and get two tickets for the raffle for an even better chance to win.
