Chinese Star Restaurant continues to give away free meal vouchers to Filipinos at DSF Al Rigga Night Market in ongoing activations ahead of the Kalayaan event in the UAE. The UAE-based restaurant chain is supporting Kalayaan 2024, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on June 9 as part of Philippine Independence Day celebrations in the UAE. Speaking to Expat Media, Joan Vargas, Operations Manager of Chinese Star Restaurant, said the restaurant chain is happy to support Kalayaan 2024. Vargas said Chinese Star Restaurant has given away thousands of vouchers in its 17-year operation in the UAE. For Kalayaan, the popular Chinese restaurant chain is giving away vouchers from Dh50 to Dh500, totaling Dh2,000 for its Kalayaan 2024 promotions on-ground, at activation sites and on social media. “At Chinese Star Restaurant, we believe in celebrating and supporting cultural diversity and inclusivity within our community. Our commitment to embracing different cultures extends beyond our culinary offerings to encompass our support for events and occasions that hold significance to various communities in the UAE,” Vargas said. “The celebration of Philippine Independence Day provides us with an opportunity to express our solidarity and appreciation for the vibrant Filipino community here in the UAE. In the run-up to Kalayaan 2024, Chinese Star Restaurant will be introducing special promotions and menu items that celebrate Filipino culture and “resonate with the Filipino palate”, Vargas said. Expect promotion combo meals featuring popular Chinese dishes and Filipino likes, as well as discounts on selected Filipino-inspired dishes from the regular menu, Vargas said. Chinese Star Restaurant will also have themed events and celebrations at its popular restaurant in Dubai’s Al Ghurair Centre. “By offering these promotions and experiences, we hope to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where our Filipino guests can come together to celebrate Kalayaan 2024 and enjoy the rich flavors of Chinese cuisine for Filipinos,” Vargas said.
