This upcoming Dubai-based school accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum

A Dubai-based school will now accept crypto payments for tuition fees starting this September. Citizens School makes history as the first in the Middle East to accept Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) as part of the flexible payment options along with the traditional and monthly interest-free options. The school has partnered with a crypto platform that will convert BTC and ETH into the UAE currency dirhams (Dh). Dr. Adil Alzarooni, the Citizens School founder, noted that the school is eager to embrace the UAE’s digital economy by becoming “the incubator for entrepreneurial ideas and children-led innovation.” Citizens School is set to open this September in time for the 2022 academic year.
