Color-coded bins to be stationed around Abu Dhabi to improve waste segregation

Color-coded bins will be stationed in Abu Dhabi to encourage the community to apply waste segregation at the source. The Centre of Garbage Management - Abu Dhabi (Tadweer) opened the city's first municipal amenity for recyclable waste in 2018. Similar bins will now be installed in various sites across the mainland. The bins will display instructions on the type of waste collected, like paper, rubber, e-waste, clothes, wood, cartons, and others. Tadweer is a strategic partner for the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week EcoWaste Exhibition and Forum, which will run multiple public awareness efforts to educate people about the various sorts of garbage.
