DUBAI – The UAE’s daily number of Covid-19 recoveries continued to increase, with 704 people recovering from coronavirus on Thursday (June 18). According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, 388 people tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday, while three people died. Meanwhile, 40,000 new Covid-19 tests were carried out in 24 hours, bringing the UAE’s total number of testings to three million. Experts are confident that the UAE is on the road to flattening the curve, with the number of daily cases the lowest in recent weeks, and the number of daily recoveries increasing. This comes as the country began easing movement restrictions to allow businesses to resume operation across the emirates.
