Filipino singer-songwriter TJ Monterde is set to bring the emotional finale of his global Sarili Nating Mundo World Tour to Abu Dhabi on December 2, coinciding with the celebration of the UAE’s 54th National Day. The concert, titled “Sarili Nating Mundo: The Final Show,” will take place at the 321 Sports Arena on Hudayriyat Island, with a fireworks display scheduled to light up the sky during Monterde’s final performance at around 10:30pm, organisers confirmed to Expat Media. The finale will also feature a National Day Bazaar with food, games, Zumba sessions and entertainment. The bazaar gate opens at 2pm. Limited seats remain available at sarilinatingmundoauh.ae and accesspass.ae as several ticket categories have already sold out. “It’s not just about the songs; it’s also a night full of stories,” Monterde previously told reporters. “The authenticity of our performances is what connects us with audiences around the world.” Monterde will be joined onstage by his wife, award-winning singer KZ Tandingan, with creative direction led by actor-director John Prats. “Before we were husband and wife, we were never in the same lineup,” Tandingan said. “That makes this concert interesting—two different artists combining worlds.” The tour, which has staged sold-out shows in Manila, Singapore, Dubai and other major cities, marks a milestone for Monterde, who has surpassed one billion Spotify streams.
