Covid-19 in UAE: 176 new cases, 1 death in 24 hours
DUBAI – The number of daily Covid-19 cases in the UAE continued to drop, with 176 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) on Tuesday (October 5). This brings the total number of recorded Covid-19 cases in the UAE to 737,073. According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care. MoHAP also announced one death due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,104. The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. MoHAP also noted that an additional 258 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 730,093. Meanwhile, the ministry said that a further 364,265 Covid-19 tests were administered over the past 24 hours as part of the UAE’s nationwide efforts to detect coronavirus cases.
