A cyclone in the Arabian Sea will bring chances of rain in parts of the UAE, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The NCM said the cyclone is a category one cyclone that will continue until October 25. “There is an indirect effect on the country by the flow of moisture from the Arabian Sea on the eastern and southern regions, which creates the chance for the formation of some cumulus clouds that may be accompanied by rain,” according to NCM. The cyclone has a wind speed of 75km/hr to 90km/hr and was located southeast of Socotra Island as of Sunday (October 22). It is expected to move west to northwest in the Arabian Sea, where the wind speed ranges between 100km/hr to 145 km/hr around the centre. ICA/Expat Media
