Controversy-hit actor Daniel Padilla is reportedly taking time off in Dubai, talent manager Ogie Diaz claimed in his YouTube channel Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update. Ogie quoted witnesses at the Philippine airport as saying that the actor was spotted in the queue for a flight to Dubai. The celebrity talent manager could not confirm if Daniel was headed to Dubai for work or vacation. “ was in the airport queue. He appeared discreet but was eventually escorted by airport staff, possibly because fans had begun to notice him,” Ogie said in Filipino. He said that a netizen was also able to take a video of Daniel on the flight to Dubai. Daniel has been embroiled in controversy after breaking up with long-time girlfriend and actress Kathryn Bernardo. Although Kathryn has been mum about the cause of their breakup, her sister recently stirred speculation after the latter's cryptic post on social media suggested that Daniel had “cheating moments” as far back as 2014. Kathryn and Daniel confirmed their breakup last November. They made their onscreen debut as a reel couple in Growing Up, which aired from September 2011 to February 2012. The former real-life couple starred in multiple blockbuster movies. They were in Abu Dhabi for the G Kapamilya concert in March last year at Abu Dhabi National Theatre where Expat Media captured their sweet moments on stage. Kathryn and Daniel are expected to star in a new movie that will be releasing in 2024 and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. Meanwhile, Ogie advised that Daniel should switch off from social media for his “peace of mind”, saying that the actor continues to get severe bashing from fans of their super successful love team called KathNiel. “He’s getting public trial.
