Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) urges its staff to live a healthy lifestyle through exercising and balancing work and social life. DEWA organized 12 sporting tournaments in 2022, with 2,437 male and female employees from various divisions participating. DEWA has sponsored and hosted three sports tournaments and participated in several local sporting events. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, received a certificate of thanks and appreciation from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid in recognition of DEWA's active engagement and support of the Dubai Fitness Challenge program, which was launched to promote Dubai's reputation as the world's most dynamic and healthy city.
