Foundation stone laid for Dh100 million sports stadium in Fujairah

  FUJAIRAH - A Dh100 million sports stadium is set to be constructed in Fujairah's Dibba area, with the Fujairah crown prince laying out the foundation stone for the facility. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, laid the foundation stone on Wednesday (May 22). The new stadium will be constructed under an agreement with FujSeng Constructions. Sheikh Mohammed said that the launch of the stadium is part of the efforts to develop the infrastructure of the emirate’s sporting establishments. Sheikh Mohammed and the foundation stone-laying ceremony's attendees were briefed on the layout, interior design and specs of the sporting facility by the officials of the Consulting Engineers Co. Earlier this week, Fujairah announced that a wide range of development projects are underway in the emirate to give it a huge economic boost and enhance it attractiveness to investors and tourists.  GAD/Expat Media
