Motorists heading to major events at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), including the ongoing Gitex Global 2025, are advised to plan ahead — parking now comes at a premium rate of Dh25 per hour. The new tariff was introduced by Parkin, the UAE’s public parking operator, as part of a special “Grand Event Zone” pricing policy to help reduce heavy congestion around DWTC during large-scale exhibitions and conferences. The rate marks a significant increase from previous years. A seven-hour stay now costs Dh230, while losing your parking ticket will result in a Dh600 non-refundable fee. According to Parkin, the temporary pricing strategy is aimed at encouraging public transport use and smoother traffic flow around the venue, which typically attracts tens of thousands of visitors daily during major events such as Gitex Global and Gulf Food.

Alternative parking options for visitors

Parkin is recommending motorists to use nearby multi-storey car parks for more affordable options, including Al Jaffliya Car Park and Al Satwa Car Park, both connected to DWTC via public transport.
